The Society for the Preservation and
Encouragement of BarberShop
Quartet Singing in America, Inc.,
is our parent organization.
The world's largest all-male singing organization, the
Barbersop Harmony Society has
over 30,000 members in the United States and Canada.
SPEBSQSA's website has something for everyone: music (printed,
recorded, and streaming), tutorials, show schedules from all over,
and more information than you can shake a treble clef at!

The Mid-Atlantic District
The largest District in the Society with over 4,600 members in
96 chapters, the MAD stretches from New York to the Outer Banks,
and from the Atlantic seaboard to West Virginia.
The Mid-Atlantic is home to the four-time International Chorus
Champion Alexandria Harmonizers, 2003 International Quartet
Qualifiers Wheelhouse and five-time International Quartet Medalist
BSQ (retired).

The Harmo-Net
The subscribers to this E-mail list have numbered in the thousands
for years. Now it has its own website, too.

Greater Richmond Chorus, Sweet Adelines
Our sister chorus in Richmond, a chapter of Sweet Adelines
International, won their Region 14 chorus championship (again!)
in 2005.
In October 2006, they competed on the International stage in
Las Vegas.
Also known as the “GRC,” they are directed by our
very own, Roger Tarpy.
